Foshay Tower = 0.1 miles
Historic 447-foot Foshay Tower was the first skyscraper built west of the Mississippi River and was Minneapolis’ tallest building until 1971.  It was the brainchild of real estate developer Wilbur Foshay.  The Art Deco-style structure was designed as a tribute to the Washington Monument.
