Located in the Historic Oxford Hotel constructed in 1891, McCormick's Fish House and Bar is a popular gathering spot for locals and tourists alike. Voted "Best Restaurant in Denver" by the Westword Magazine readers poll, McCormick's offers over 30 fresh seafood varieties daily. Menus are printed daily reflecting the freshest seafood available. Also featured are prime steaks, poultry, pasta and more. Fine exclusive catering is available in the beautifully appointed rooms for large and small group gatherings. Professional service, award winning cuisine and knowledgeable staff are trademarks of McCormick's Fish House. The Cruise room first opened on December 5, 1933, the day prohibition was repealed featuring a long, narrow bar fashioned after the lounge on the famed Queen Mary Cruise Liner. Art deco at it's finest, it has red neon lighting that sets off the bar with a brilliant reflection against the black lacquer finish. The Cruise Room has its own listing in the National Register of Historic Places and it won the prestigious Miami Art Deco Society's Annual Award in 1984.
